The seeds of Simple Machines Marketing were sown in 2008, utilizing those aforementioned elements to pull Switchfast Technologies, its parent company, out of the recent economic disaster. Switchfast's success in spite of the odds drew the attention of some of its clients. Before long, Switchfast was sourcing its marketing department to some of its current technology clients. When it became apparent that Switchfast's "Marketing Services Department" was here to stay, it was a natural for the brands to diverge.
