Simple Machines is a digital agency made up of technical implementers and strategic marketers. We’re seeking a demand generation manager to join our growing team.We offer remote work, flexible schedules, competitive benefits and the chance to grow your career while making a big impact for our clients. The demand generation manager will work with the operations team and multiple clients to research and implement digital marketing strategies and provide hands-on support for campaign management, monthly reporting and data analysis.

The specialist must possess an outstanding work ethic, a keen sense of initiative and responsibility and a desire to own important projects that support the team and help the company succeed.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to take more ownership of client engagements and build their technical skills.

You may be a good candidate for this role if you have:

  • 3-5 years of digital marketing experience, preferably with B2B companies
  • Strong proficiency with HubSpot, including experience and certifications that go beyond the fundamentals
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and an ability to think on your feet when presenting to clients
  • Ability to plan and execute paid search campaigns
  • Ability to optimize campaigns to achieve KPIs aligned with client goals
  • Experience using GA4 and Google Tag Manager to track and analyze engagement, conversion rates etc.
  • Familiarity with tools such as SEMRush and Google Tag Manager
  • A strong understanding of marketing attribution, segmentation and lead scoring

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Drive results through strategic execution for multiple accounts, providing direction, guiding execution and delegating tasks to the operations team.
  • Use HubSpot to track and optimize clients’ lead generation & lead nurturing programs through email campaigns, content marketing, paid media, and social media channels.
  • Conduct market research to better identify target audiences and how to attract them, using a variety of tools like Google Analytics, Google Ads, Keyword Planner, SEMRush.
  • Establish and manage PPC campaigns that generate high-quality leads. Optimize paid campaign performance and make recommendations to increase conversions while reducing CPC.
  • Oversee content development with the support of the operations team, including drafting and editing blogs, newsletters and social media content as needed.
  • Track, report, and analyze program performance, and make recommendations for further improvement.
  • Manage projects and timelines and all deliverables for assigned clients.
